The ABS-CBN Ball 2019 just wrapped-up and the men surely hit the right style notes giving us promising dapper ensembles.

Much like how the women made it a point to stand out amongst the sea of stars, their male counterparts also made sure to do so by bringing their style game to the next level. With modern Filipiniana as the primary theme of this year’s much-awaited coming together of celebrities, the gents undeniably proved that they won’t be left behind when it comes to their fashion choices.

From the likes of the OG MEGA Man Jericho Rosales to the ever-dashing James Reid, there wasn’t any shortage of dapper men walking the red carpet. Here are the 10 best-dressed men who were downright handsome at this year’s ABS-CBN Ball.

10. Edward Barber

Edward Barber has always effortlessly looked dashing attending various balls. And in this year’s ABS-CBN Ball, he made sure to exude the same aura, channeling the magnificence of the Manila Cathedral wearing a utilitarian coat punctuated with gold embellishments by MEGA Young Designer’s Competition winner Furne One.

9. Enzo Pineda

Proving that you really can’t go wrong with monotones, Enzo Pineda opted for a bold look for the ball. Wearing an all-black suit Chris Nick ensemble complemented by a cummerbund, he sure looked like a handsome daredevil.

8. Daniel Padilla

Daniel Padilla has always been a stylish gent, effortlessly commanding his presence when he arrives—all thanks to his unique fashion sense. So, for the ball, he once more showed us how he does it by donning a suit made of indigenous fabric over a barong with a jusi scarf accent.

7. Ronnie Alonte

While Ronnie had two outfit changes for the ball, we really like his choice of suit the moment he walked the red carpet. Wearing an excellently made black deconstructed barong by Jaggy Clarino, we must admit he definitely looks dapper.

6. Marco Gumabao

Keeping things classic for this year’s ball, Just A Stranger star Marco Gumabao opted to wear a traditional barong by Joey Samson. Although this may be, his barong still has a subtle hint of twist highlighting stunning pleats and an opulent amount of embroidery.

5. Fumiya

While he may still be new in the showbiz industry, seems like Fumiya knows how he can stand out in a room full of stars. The PBB star chose to wonderfully marry two national costumes—the Japanese Kimono and the barong Tagalog.

4. Richard Gutierrez

By this time, it’s safe to say that Richard Gutierrez has always been the dapper gentleman many guys would aspire to be. And he proved that to us again as he arrived last night in a beguiling Joey Samson barong punctuated by a jusi sash.

3. Jericho Rosales

The OG MEGA Man Jericho Rosales didn’t come to disappoint. Once he emerged on the red carpet, he effortlessly made his presence known. He looked charming wearing a timeless Gabbie Sarenas barong depicting the life of havest and elements painstakingly embroidered on it—from the palay, sun, to the water.

2. Hayden Kho

If there is anyone who really sets the bar high for the men, that sure is Hayden Kho. From one outfit after another, he never fails to look stylish, and even with modern Filipiniana as the theme, he made it a point to incorporate his contemporary style wearing a Paul Cabral barong accentuated by a harness.

1. James Reid

Rising above all the fashionable men at this year’s ABS-CBN Ball is James Reid. Making sure his outfit is in line with the overarching dress code, he donned a razor-sharp white suit accentuated by a bejeweled sash inspired the nation’s colors no less.
