While we’re not greeting the winter season during this time of the year, unfortunately, living on this side of the world exposes us to hot and humid weather all year round with unpredictable showers from time to time. This only means there are a specific set of concerns to consider. Still, the Amihan cold and dry winds brought by the ‘ber-months can have as much as little to major effects on our skin that could last until the month of April. As we experience cooler temperatures again, our skin gets less prone to sweating and this can cause dryness. Since our goal is to always rehydrate our face and body, we should include balms and oils to our skincare routine. Even just by staying still, our scalp can get really sweaty and turn our hair into something irritably greasy. Another essential during this time is a proper haircare routine. Apart from the daily nourishing chemical-free shampoo and conditioner, it is a good weekly practice to apply hair oils and hair masks for strengthening of hair strands.
