BTS teams up with PUMA for a global collaboration, launching the new “Turin” sneakers and a stylish range of athleisure wear.
Let’s be honest—even if you don’t know them, you must have seen and heard of them countless times already. BTS, the Korean boy band that’s taking the world by storm is nowhere near new to the industry but their ascent to Western waters are definitely something to be majorly celebrated as they continue to break records and create milestones in the process.
For 2018, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are back with a collaboration with PUMA. The boys have been working with the athletic brand for quite a while now but this time, it’s not just with PUMA Korea, they’re moving onto a much larger scale as global ambassadors—releasing a special pair of trainers called “Turin” under the concept, “The Time With BTS” as well as a range of athleisure garbs and accessories. Ever the creative spirits, the boys even partook in the design process for the hand-held flower logo emblazoned on a selection of the clothes.

We’re not afraid to say it, activewear can get a bit lackluster. It’s not really a category that’s deemed utterly exciting but the street-inspired pieces in this collaboration are definitely something worth looking into. It’s not just workout gear itself but actually clothes that you can wear casually, especially for gals and guys who love their share of streetwear ensembles, just like the BTS boys whose favorite designers range from WTAPS to Supreme and Balenciaga—they surely got the streetwear bases covered.
“We’ve had various promotions with BTS as our brand models for four years in a row. They will gain even more love as global ambassadors starting this year,” tells PUMA in a statement. The group will be joining stars like Selena Gomez, Rihanna, and The Weeknd to name a few—for the brand and we couldn’t be more excited to see what’s to come.
Aside from stunning promotional photos, BTS also star in a new campaign video where they look back on their achievements throughout the past 4 years. While we wait for the official release, take a trip down nostalgiatown with the Korean 7-piece in their 2-minute film below:
