Spotted: Celebrities at the BYS Fashion Week

These names graced the shows as guests and runway models of the Filipino designers.

Finding your calling in a creative industry exhausts your blood, sweat, and tears. One of the ways you get by is truly with the help of your fellow creatives. One shoot or event—the fruit of collective labor—will not be possible without the people whose talents serve as roots for one successful culmination.

The BYS Fashion Week paved the way for talents to come together and express their takes on breaking the stigma, practicing sustainability, and strengthening the gender spectrum in the world of fashion.

Celebrities have the privilege to use their voices and promote these advocacies given the traction of their names and works. Sometimes, it is through these advocacies that they have formed bonds for the purpose of creating a healthier space for future artists.

With that said, here are some of the big names who graced the shows of the BYS Fashion Week

Nadine Lustre

“President” Nadine donned a JustBonita number with a slit situation going on. The said brand—founded by Bonita Penaranda—delivered scintillating sultriness with her creations for the second day of the show.

Always going for daring and edgy, Nadine was the perfect muse to close the next level street style collection of Thian Rodriguez during the last night of the event.

BJ Pascual

The photographer made an appearance during the first day wearing a Randolf cutout bodysuit, matching the runway models donned in their own pieces from the same designer.

Arci Muñoz

If there is anyone who is not afraid to try an array of looks and styles, that’s Arci, and this time, she rocked the creation of one of the featured designers, Kaye Morales. With mental health awareness as her theme, Morales came up with a dark, padded top and pleated skirt with layers.

Nicole Cordoves

The beauty queen strutted the runway as a model for designers Jaz Cerezo and Bonita Penaranda with slitted, full-on bling pieces. We love a booked and busy beauty queen!

Chie Filomeno

Another Bonita Penaranda muse of the night, Chie went for a bespoke two-piece number. She came wearing silver, but the look deserves a gold star!

Celeste Cortesi

The face of the BYS Fashion Week walked for JustBonita in a tube, denim dress with an oversized feathered hat. All eyes were on the towering beauty as she strutted the runway with grace and sophistication!

Lou Yanong

Lou proved that she could ace any look as she walked for the JustBonita, Kaye Morales, I S S A, and Cruz shows.

Issa Pressman and Yassi Pressman

The designer looked nothing short of a runway model as she donned her own I S S A design for the last day of the event. Meanwhile, the actress closed her sister’s show with a corset and voluminous skirt number.
