While there are other more standout pieces, this ensemble spoke to me in its juxtaposition—the reality of a classic, strong suit exploding into a fantastical poof of a collar. “JPG did not hold back with his finale collection, leaving us with the same provocative energy nostalgic of the 90s. The last memory of the fashion world being this stunned was perhaps John Galliano’s Dior 1991 show and it was long overdue for a couture house to be deemed jolting. It was a beautiful ending filled with show-stopping caskets, cheeky BDSM references, embroidered faux tattoo pieces and his conical bras.
