From classic soft waves and romantic updos to classic nude lipstick and radiant complexion, here are the best entries seen at the Star Magical Prom
There is no better time than now to reminisce about the Star Magical Prom. Of course, the night transformed into a modern fairytale as up-and-coming artists and young celebrities arrived in their best lavish ensembles, and the beauty moments can’t be left unmentioned, too. In retrospect, the ivory carpet witnessed an influx of memorable hair and makeup takes that deserved recognition.
Radiant skin
A radiant complexion remains synonymous with the night’s beauty moodboard. Take Anji Salvacion and Kaori Oinuma as examples. As seen on the ivory carpet, both artists donned a healthy, fresh, and frosted-like complexion. It served as the perfect base for their makeup formats. To say the least, it emphasized that skin-focused makeup shows no signs of slowing down.
Soft waves
A soft wave style looks good on everyone—just take a cue from Francine Diaz and Jayda Avanzado. At the gala, the young stars exhibited their interpretation of the classic hair look that narrates a different appeal. Francine, for one, elevated it with a braided hairstyle that encapsulated a modern princess feel, while Jayda embodied an ethereal fairy with a pair of tendrils and floral accents.
Nude lipsticks
It appears that a nude lip shade was a perennial favorite in the soirée’s beauty department. Belle Mariano kept it chic with a play on soft eyeshadow look and a rosy brown lipstick, while Karina Bautista embraced a dark feminine energy appeal with her take on a smokey eyeshadow and a 90s brown lip shade.
Fringe affair
As mentioned, fringe haircuts are transformative and versatile. Andrea Brillantes captured every beauty enthusiast’s attention as she debuted her micro-fringe on the main carpet, while Vivoree made a serious case for what appears to be a crimped iteration of a curtain bangs. Moreover, it proved that a fringe cut can up the ante of any look.
Modern princess updo
Stars like Bianca De Vera and AC Bonifacio perfectly demonstrated how romantic updos are done. Bianca is a true muse with her display of a princess updo, while AC’s hair direction showcased a sleek version of the hairstyle. Elsewhere, the format also remained a popular choice for celebrities like Rina Maier, Xyriel Manabat, and Krystal Brimner.
