We Got Up Close With All The Stars You Missed At Manila Next 2018

What’s one to do when our fave celebs and style stars gather in one event? Get up close and document their looks of the night, of course! Which is exactly what we did during Manila Next 2018.
In case you missed it, Manila Next 2018 rocked everyone’s night in one extravaganza that married the very best of both fashion and music. Held at Cove Manila, the runway showcased local brands and designers alike while our favorite show-stopping acts took to the stage.
But the action wasn’t just on the stage—most of the style stars and celebs walked around and hopped cabanas. We stopped our fave personalities for a quick chat and a photo or two.

Leila Alcasid

Even dressed down in an easy and breezy white top, Leila Alcasid was positively radiant.

Jessica Yang and Iago Faria

Model couple Iago and Jessica took the swim-ready theme of the night to the streets with their signature laid-back, athleisure style.

Kiana Valenciano

Kiana sported a cropped men’s shirt for her performance—that she cut herself—which perfectly highlighted not just her toned body but her gorgeous blunt bob as well.

Narez La Fuego

Athlete and rapper Narez keeps it cool in an oversized graphic button-down shirt with a necklace accent.

Curtis Mito and Bret Jackson

Work that vintage athleisure look that’s all the rage with an ’80s sports jacket like Bret Jackson and Curtis Mito.

Kim Cruz

Blogger and Zalora Crew Kim Cruz made sure to make her velvet dress summer-ready by pairing it with a floral cover-up.

Vina Guerrero

Summer dressing can be as simple as a cropped white tee and an easy, striped skirt—just like blogger and Zalora Crew Vina Guerrero’s outfit.

Alex Diaz and Rammy Bitong

Subtle sportif elements like shirt panels can easily elevate an outfit. Take cues from Alex Diaz and DJ Rammy Bitong.

Speaking of sportif, take cue from Mito on how to rock athleisure with easy-to-wear separates.

Gil Cuerva

Want to rock a simple black tee? Take it from Gil Cuerva who let his all-black ensemble accentuate his signature long locks.

Lauren Reid

Or wear that black T-shirt a la Lauren Reid—pair with subtly distressed denim and your ash blonde hair and you’re good to go!
