Bringing their family’s bond to the occasion, the Gutierrez clan makes a mark at the Opulence Ball with their distinct styles
For the Gutierrez family, the Opulence Ball was an affair of their bloodline. Last night, Mond Gutierrez led their crew as the host of the occasion. Armored in a gold JustBonita ensemble, he channeled a warrior ready to make his way through the bash.

Of course, the other half of the twins, Richard, would not miss the occasion for the world. Coming in an all-black ensemble, the actor went for a breastplate top paired with velvet pants. “Dark Knight meets Gladiator,” the actor remarked simply.
Although his better half was not around, Sarah Lahbati showed her support for Opulence weeks before the ball. Giving a modern take on Joan of Arc’s armor attire, she wore an asymmetrical silver breastplate from JustBonita and a knotted skirt from Martin Bautista.
Known for her statuesque beauty and her polished style, Ruffa Gutierrez made a romantic twist to Queen Cleopatra. Her look was a close reinterpretation of Elizabeth Taylor’s golden dress in the 1963 film, Cleopatra.
Matching her mother’s winged ensemble, Venice was also a vision in her red and yellow embellished costume. With her look, she resembled the phoenix, wherein the mythical bird’s colors were a symbol of the fire as it would rise and be reborn.
Last but not least, the patriarch and matriarch of the family also graced the event in their own take on Greek design. Matching in their Regine Tolentino creations, Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama donned silver and gold outfits, respectively.
In an exclusive with MEGA Entertainment, the parents of Mond shared their thoughts on their son’s event this season. “‘Pag si Raymond ang gumawa ng event, talagang the best!” Eddie said proudly.
