Envisioned through Hermès’ theme for 2024, “The Spirit of the Faubourg”, the pop-up kiosk in Makati invited guests with an experience curated by Le Monde d’Hermès
Hermès delightedly extended an invitation to the public at the Courtyard of the Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati City. Envisioned through the lens of the House’s theme for 2024, “The Spirit of the Faubourg”, the pop-up spectacle intrigued guests with an experiential voyage curated by Le Monde d’Hermès.

The eponymous kiosk, painted in orange, naturally drew visitors into the world of the House, where collections and conversations reveal the diverse spectrum of the House’s essence. Symbolizing vitality, creativity, and the House’s commitment to craftsmanship, the hue of orange becomes a magnetic force, enticing passersby to set off on a sensory exploration through Hermès’ universe.
Upon arrival, guests were greeted by Mr. Kiosk, setting the day brimming with vivacity and engagement. A whimsical gardener, an adept artist capturing animated portraits, and the rhythmic beats of a live DJ attracted the atmosphere with an infectious energy, culminating in a jubilant Pony Dance performance on the inaugural day.
Throughout the event, laughter reverberated as guests indulged in the offerings of Le Monde d’Hermès: Complimentary copies of the magazine, accompanied by French pastries and popsicles, a bespoke bookmark, a charming horse origami, and a traditional Filipino fan, were given to attendees as they mark a jubilant celebration of the Le Monde d’Hermès Kiosk in the country.
The initiative builds on the success of the first-ever Le Monde d’Hermès kiosk, which debuted in Prague in 2021. The kiosk has traveled across continents, attracting audiences with its orange personality, and is set to continue its journey, with stops planned in Taiwan and Tokyo.
In 2024, Le Monde d’Hermès will flip its pages to reveal a collection of unknown secrets and beloved recollections, encapsulating the lively subject. The Spring-Summer 2024 edition digs into the whimsical absurdities that characterize the inexhaustible nature of the Faubourg, inhabited by magic and wonder. From a mini-department store to a museum, a table d’hôtes to a garden, and a studio, the storytelling defies logic, exceeding into a dream creation imagined by Émile Hermès, acting as the crucible of all Hermès dreams while displaying the new collections across the House’s sixteen métiers.
Since its inception in 1973, Le Monde d’Hermès has drawn in readers worldwide, with a biannual circulation of 600,000 copies published in eleven languages, illustrating Hermès’ continuous dedication to innovation and originality.
