Just like the old saying, “If it happened once, it can happen again.” In this case, it’s happened again and again. This may be the third comeback of the hip-huggers since its first introduction in 1957. They were invented during the mod days of fashion, cemented in the hippie era, and revolutionized by Alexander McQueen in the latest millennium. These pants have come a long way from just being called bumsters. Whether we like it or not, it’s time for the low to rise. And, we can expect it to do so in the next 20 years again.
