These Celebrities Turned Their Passions Into Businesses

By

Take notes from Kathryn, Julia, Kim, Elisse, and Alden on how to do what you love while earning on the side

When celebrities take a day off from their star status, we can find them enjoying mundane things that so-called ordinary people do. Outside taping, Kathryn loves going to the beach. Alden, meanwhile, devotes much of his time (and money!) for games. Elisse pampers herself with a relaxing beauty day, while Julia likes a chill, laidback style when going out with her family and friends. Kim, on the other hand, adores bag shopping anywhere she goes.

If there is one thing that we can learn from them, it’s to find purpose in our passions in life. As all of them acknowledge the changing tides of showbiz, earnings and projects are not permanent. Because of this, they have found ways on how to invest their hard-earned money into business from the things that they love doing.

With that said, here’s how these celebrities turned their passions into profitable projects.

Julia Barretto

For the actress, her business The Juju Club originated from her love of her hair clips and clamps during the pandemic. She also spices up her chill looks by stacking accessories, so it’s no surprise that this passion of hers has translated into a business that allows people to enjoy accessorizing as well.

Alden Richards

The actor did not earn the title “Alden Recharge” in the Genshin Impact community just for nothing. Did you know that he has approximately spent more than a million to build his characters in the said game? As a gamer-slash-streamer, Alden established Myriad Esports this year to give a platform for amateaur gamers to showcase their skills in games such as Mobile Legends.

Elisse Joson

As a woman juggling different roles every single day, Elisse values her beauty break highly. She takes pride in devoting some me-time for herself, and with that came her new beauty and grooming business, Lunch Break Beauty

Kim Chiu

Over the course of her showbiz career, the actress has acquired a number of bags for her collection, as seen on her two-part vlog. Knowing her way around bags, Kim has decided to start her own line called House of Little Bunny

Kathryn Bernardo

If she’s not at a taping or endorsement shoot, you will most likely find Kathryn traveling. Holding the beach with a particular fondness, the actress is now a part owner of Isla Amara located in El Nido, Palawan.
