In the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 coronation, these delegates received recognition in different categories
The coronation night in the Miss Universe Philippines is not just to celebrate the crowned queen. It is also about acknowledging the different delegates who performed with the best of their abilities in several parts of the competition.
Although beauty plays a role in the pageant, confidence truly reigns over other attributes when it comes to the competition. This said trait is also anchored on not just physical appearance, but also an innate desire to empower others and transform lives by setting an example.

Rising contenders
Last night, Shayne Maquiran representing Capiz received the Miss Friendship Award. Her infectious smile and easygoing personality made her win the hearts of her fellow candidates.
After her, Jannarie Zarzoso of Agusan Del Norte won the Face of Social Media and Glam Shot Challenge awards. This catapulted her straight to the Top 18.
Pampanga’s queen Angelique Manto solidified her Top 18 position for winning the Jojo Bragais Runway Challenge. As a fresh face in the competition, she also captivated a number of sponsors in the preliminary round. Angelique finished well as the second runner-up for the crown.
Crowning glories
Top 5 contender Krishnah Gravidez proved her power in the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 competition by snatching the Best in Swimsuit title. She was also coronated as Miss Charm Philippines 2023.
Miss Supranational Philippines 2023 Pauline Amelinckx, meanwhile, secured her spot at the next round of the competition by besting the 37 delegates in the Swimsuit Challenge. The Belgian-Boholeña also won the most number of awards from the sponsors in the preliminaries.
Last but definitely not the least, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee also received a special award last night. She donned glamorous Mark Bumgarner pieces in both evening gown segments of the preliminaries and coronation night, making her win the Best in Evening Gown award. During the preliminaries, Michelle wore a white, crystal-crusted frock. On stage, she opted for a classic black look with a striking, embellished strap on one side and some draped slit.
