This is what the love story of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleckβfamously collectively coined as “Bennifer” confirms beyond doubt. At 12:30 of July 17, the couple tied the knot at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
JLo and Affleck shared the good news with their fans through the former’s exclusive newsletter, “On the JLo”.
It was the best possible wedding we could have imagined. One we dreamed of long ago and one made real.
So with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Benβs closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings weβll wear for the rest of our lives.

The blushing bride wore two dressesβthe first one a boatneck dress she wore in one of her movies.
She then changed into a Zuhair Murad off-shoulder bridal number.

Lopez and Affleck first met in 2002 while shooting the movie, “Gigli”. In November 2002, they were engaged. Two years after, in 2004, they separated.
For more than 18 years, the couple lived their separate lives, forming families with their respective lovers. The Grammy Award nominee married Marc Anthony and have two fraternal twins. Meanwhile, the Academy Award winner shares three children with actress Jennifer Garner.
On April of this year, JLo announced their engagement.
“Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” says Lopez, signing the newsletter with “With love, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”
The superstar’s recent update is on Instagram where she is seen smiling and sporting her wedding ring.
