Awards were doled out, new celebrity ambassadors were introduced, and a cosmetic line was unveiled all at ToledoMed’s Crystal Ball
With the medical aesthetics industry teeming with competitors, it can be difficult to make a name for yourself, but Dr. Librado Toledo Jr. of ToledoMed is optimistic and eager to rise to the challenge. And now, in the company’s 15th year, Dr. Toledo is well on his way, as shown by the exciting announcements revealed at ToledoMed’s Crystal Ball last December 9.
The Crystal Ball was a night full of high spirits as the clinic celebrated its awards and 15th anniversary. it also unveiled its brand new cosmetic line, which will be Dr. Toledo’s first. Following that announcement, the Aesthetic and Cosmetic Surgeon sat with MEGA to answer all our questions about the recent events.
A pioneering mind
As it stands, ToledoMed already offers a comprehensive range of services for all your aesthetic needs. Now, the clinic goes further with Dr. Toledo Cosmetics, which promises a line full of transformative skin and beauty products—and it’s launching in the first quarter of 2024.
Considering the popularity of foreign-made makeup brands among Filipinos, Dr. Toledo strived to create this line of cosmetics specifically with Filipino skin tones and weather conditions in mind. “This is made especially for the Filipino,” he told MEGA. Years of planning went into the products and their packaging, but he emphasized that this line would be affordable for the middle class, too.
Additionally, given his extensive educational background, Dr. Toledo assures the quality of his products’ formulations, going on to say that he aimed to make something effective and not just popular. And though he created this line with the Filipino context in mind, he has a vision to make this cosmetic line go global in the future, starting with placements in airports all over.
A night for glam and recognition
Dr. Toledo was not the only one under the spotlight at the Crystal Ball. Several employees received awards for their outstanding loyalty, while a new batch of Toledo Angels—celebrity ambassadors—was introduced soon after.
