This Gucci Bag Was Spotted in Nadine’s Disco Heaven Photoshoot

Nadine brings this Gucci bag from the 1940s into a disco-themed photoshoot for a glamorous blast from the past.

There are a lot of reasons why a luxury house establishes a staying power. But beyond the craftsmanship of the maison, a clear vision of who the brand is and what it represents sets each one apart.

A big part of asserting the identity of the fashion house is choosing who embodies its vision and purpose—a celebrity or an icon who can use their influence to communicate the same message. With Gucci, it’s all about authenticity, boldness, and exploration. And it is no surprise to think of Nadine Lustre when we hear these words. Both Gucci and Nadine understand that by exploring the world and taking risks, you will know who you are and what you want.

This time around, she brings the Gucci Bamboo 1947 into a glamorous retro space with Disco Heaven, which is makeup artist Jelly Eugenio’s special series for Halloween.

In the photoshoot, the actress rocked a sheer beaded JustBonita number with her sleek hair parted in the middle. Holding a disco ball in one hand and the bag in the other, Nadine brought the Gucci mini bag into another timeline.

As the disco-themed photoshoot is a reinterpretation of the past to fit the present, so is the Gucci Bamboo 1947. Due to the scarcity of raw materials in Italy’s 1940’s post-war situation, Guccio Gucci came up with the said line—bags with a leather body and bamboo hardware.

Now considered as one of the brand’s classic pieces, the Gucci Bamboo comes in different silhouettes and sizes—perfect for a disco-themed night like Nadine’s or even just as a staple to your daily wardrobe.
