Monday nights are usually a drag, let’s admit that. Coming from a day of whatever preoccupies your time, which is hopefully something productive, the only thing you look forward to is curling up in bed and waiting for the cycle to lather, rinse, and repeat. However, sometimes things change up a bit, where the start of the week offers a spike in the mood with an opportune soiree to shift the spirits, so to speak.

In a scene that can only be described as the heavens descending in a space of mostly white and decorated with a decadent amount of flowers, MEGA hosted its now traditional Exclusive Dinner in celebration of the month’s issue release, as well as of course, the cover star. Held at Lemuria Restaurant and Wine Bar, the MEGA Exclusives dinner saw an assemblage of beauties and industry partners who all came together for the woman of the hour, Heart Evangelista Escudero.

Together with NÉW Lounge, the night was a true testament to beauty that is in the eye of the beholder. From beauty queens, models, digital darlings, and girl bosses, all attention was in the spirit of femininity led by Heart Evangelista Escudero, of course.

Essaying yet another chapter as sealed into permanence by MEGA, the tireless and ever-so charming multi-hyphenate was only so grateful for the support of everyone in the room. With more stories in the cuff of her forever stylish threads, she encouraged everyone to make chika-chika and to have a good time.

True enough, the MEGA Exclusive Dinner with Heart Evangelista carried on with good food paired with great wine, and even a live cooking demo on the classic French dessert, Crêpes Suzette, by Chef Jean-Francois Brouck, master chef of the Institute Culinaire Disciples Escoffier and head instructor for CCA Manila’s 6-month French Culinary Program in BGC.

Trailing the night was a copious mix of more spirits and endless catch ups and conversations, which only meant that as Heart Evangelista Escudero intended at the beginning, everyone really did have a grand time.
