Through His Color-Blindness, Photographer Ed Enclona Is Taking The Craft To Brighter Heights

In a world where everyone has a camera in their pocket, a certain level of vision, dedication, effort and eye is vital to thrive in the industry.

Enter Ed Enclona, the 24-year-old photographer with a story that’s as captivating as his shots. Coincidentally enough, Enclona is diagnosed with Deuteranopia, a type of color-blindness that can hinder one’s ability to distinguish red and green pigments.

Despite this, he’s proved that he’s got the eye to execute high-fashion shots with greater rewards as he’s the Photographer to Watch for this year’s MEGA Fashion Awards co-presented with RLC Residences.

My photos reflect so much about myself, my struggle, and my journey,” Ed had shared in 2017 as a then-budding photographer.

“I really put my mood into it. There is always an inspiration in each and every fashion photo or simple portrait. I am a person who’s quiet but there is always something to say. I let my photos speak and introduce myself.”

True enough, four years later, Ed’s works have more than spoken for the quiet photographer that’s since captured stars like Nadine Lustre, Christine Samson, and more.
