This season, Longchamp invites women to express their inner wild side as they revisit the Cavalcade line of bags and unleashes new eclectic and exotic looks
Adding a pop of character into one’s wardrobe has become second nature for some. It could be a distinctive accessory or a stylized piece of clothing that screams you. However, Longchamp shows that the latest Cavalcade collection is all you need for that distinctive look. Known for embodying the expert leather know-how of the brand, Cavalcade steps aside from the conventional meek and feminine look to feature something more daring.
The new line features a sassy crocodile-style cowhide leather bag that contrasts with the model’s curvature. It has an adjustable shoulder strap allowing it to be carried in one of two ways: secured across the body or long from the shoulder.
Another addition to the line is a combination of rigid, finely-grained calfskin leather with sensual velvet leather for a bold two-tone effect. For something more compact, a fully-suede round clutch carried at the belt gives you a sophisticated but ever-casual look. The model’s size keeps it supple and elegant so you can wear it without a hitch.
Giving some edge to the collection is a design with prominent metal studs and eyelets set at the bag’s flap that compliments the trademark Longchamp-engraved swivel closure featured in all the Cavalcade bags. The touch of rock and roll continues with their lambskin bag whose padding gives the silhouette a fuller appearance and extra dimension.
The collection rounds out with the most adventurous of them all: a python-style cowhide leather bag that overlaps in contrasting color patches. Featured palettes are blue with touches of black, white, and russet; and an acid mixture of mustard, chestnut, mahogany, and bone white. This versatile design can be worn as either a crossbody bag or a wallet on chain.
