When spring comes to mind, we immediately recall the vibrant and refreshing themes that relate to the season. Anything pastel, light, vivid, and even floral— it’s a staple once spring enters the year. It was also a common occurrence once fashion week hits the streets but fashion also has its way of breaking the rules every once in a while.

Versace goes anti-summer this season as they breathe life into the dark gothic goddess this season. It’s a trend that has been on the rise recently and Versace gives it a new interpretation.

“I have always loved a rebel. A woman who is confident, smart, and a little bit of a diva.”

Slashes and cuts

Dark dresses were slashed across the torso while other pieces had precisely made cuts to put two contrasting pieces together.

Hard-edge textures

Fringed leather jackets and fur-like coats were paired with cascading chiffon dresses or pieces that had metal studs piercing through delicate lace. This collection perfectly showcased the juxtaposition of fluidity and structure.

High glamor

Graphic patterns glowed vividly with bright hues of pink and purple while metallic finishes had a subtle flare under the spotlight. In true Versace fashion, prints and rich colors ruled in the collection.
