Dr. Vicki Belo shares how she packs for her trips abroad.
For her recent Europe trip, photos of Dr. Vicki Belo flooded our social media feeds—and only one thought came to mind: We wish we had her wardrobe. From her OOTDs to the dress she wore to Cannes Film Festival, Vicki Belo’s style truly exudes class. As an avid traveller, celebrity doctor, and fashionista, Vicki Belo shares her packing tips and travel essentials when going out of the country.
From making sure your travel essentials are packed to deciding which pair of shoes to bring, packing for a trip takes time, and well, a lot of thought. “Before the trip I always check the temperature and weather of the place I go to,” Belo shares. “If there are any big events while I’m there I bring special pieces. Like for this trip, we were invited by Gucci for their brand experience so I made sure to bring my best Gucci outfits out of respect to the brand.” She also enlists the help of Filipino stylist and designer Bang Pineda for her eye-catching OOTDs.
While she may be a well-known personality, Dr. Vicki Belo proves she’s just like us. Her travel must-have? Her favorite sneakers! Admittedly having difficulty wearing heels for long periods of time, she makes sure she brings her favorite sneakers and Lanvin flats. “No matter how good my outfit looks in heels, I cannot travel without my good and comfortable sneakers,” Belo shares. She still brings her heels along of course, so she’s ready for any photo opportunity. “I usually have my heels in my bag, which Hayden (Kho, her husband) carries, so in case an OOTD opportunity comes along I’m always ready!” As a dermatologist, some of her travel essentials also include the Belo Tinted Sunblock, and the Belo Anti-Maskne Mask that are offered in different colorways—perfect for any outfit.
Belo also went to the Cannes Film Festival during her trip. She has been in touch with her friend Felice from Gucci since receiving the invitation, and was sent beautiful and one-of-a-kind gowns for her to choose from. In the end, she opted for a stunning green gown that featured pink floral prints and subtle sequins that perfectly captured her elegance. “It’s really so beautiful and made me feel beautiful as well. It’s exactly what I would have wanted to wear,” she shares. With only 3 pieces of this gown in the whole world, Vicki Belo shares that her red carpet dress has definitely been her favorite ensemble she’s worn on the trip thus far.
