Leading the charge is Patrick Ty, a seasoned veteran in Philippine fashion and media. With his experience as the Creative Chief of MEGA Magazine and a reputation cemented by an Excellence in Asian Fashion Citation, Patrick is the ideal visionary to steer VMAN SEA’s content and design. Ty shares, “Through VMAN SEA, we want to emphasize that culture is cool, fashion is progressive, regional talent is overflowing, and much of our diverse differences should be celebrated. We are excited to introduce today’s Southeast Asian man—in all our entirety—to the world and each other, through the lens of popular culture and fashion.”

Bringing a contemporary edge to the magazine is Creative Director Vince Uy, whose work spans fashion, advertising, and social media. Uy’s vision is all about showcasing the fearless evolution of the Southeast Asian man. “VMAN SEA will showcase the myriad stories of the modern Southeast Asian man—someone who is bold, multifaceted, and fearless in his evolution. We aim to capture the essence of who he is, blending his heritage with his forward-thinking approach to life. Every page will reflect his journey, celebrating not just fashion, but the raw, personal moments that shape him. Ultimately, this is about more than just trends—it’s about the ever-evolving concept of masculinity,” he shares.

On the fashion front, Rex Atienza joins as Fashion Editor, bringing over 18 years of experience to the table. His expertise in celebrity styling and fashion direction gives VMAN SEA a sharp, entrepreneurial edge. Atienza is excited to merge the old-school with the new, saying, “Full circle moments are rare, but here I am, back where it all started—except now with a lot more fashion faux pas under my belt and a deep respect for the new generation of style visionaries. Honored, excited, and ready to blend old-school flair with fresh talent.”
