Be blown away by the best of Dyson’s products
The leading expert in cyclonic vacuum technology is reaching out to viewers at home, and for a good reason. Dyson has partnered with SM Shopmag to support the latter’s first ASK the PRO LIVE session, hosted by the ever-candid Ava Daza. In the short albeit very informative stream, Ava talked about some of the most popular products from Dyson and what makes them so special and sought after.
Like daughter, like mother
As an avid user of Dyson products herself, it was easy for her to share what she loved most about the products. Ava shared an anecdote about her first time trying out a Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer, and her amazement at how fast it dried her hair. Thanks to its powerful V9 motor and air multiplier technology, the machine produces high pressure and a high velocity jet of controlled air for faster drying and precision styling. “Normally, it takes me 20 minutes because my hair is quite long. But [using this] it actually took me around 8 to 10 minutes,” she shared.
Growing up as a daughter of a Miss Universe, her mom had always warned her about using blowers because the heat might damage her hair. But with Dyson’s precise heating settings and magnetic styling tools, both mom and daughter were converted and now own a Supersonic Hair Dryer each. Ava also marveled at the lightweight body of the dryer and how easy it was to use without any strain.
Cool and clean
Ava also talked about her frustration with cleaning her desk one day, and seeing dust settle on it again the following day, showing how fast a space can be riddled with fine particles no matter how much you clean it. She exclaimed, “I would wake up and my nose would be really clogged. So I got this machine from Dyson. I woke up the next day and had no allergies!” The Dyson Pure Cool Tower had helped Ava and her husband a lot in keeping the air they breathe at home clean. “It’s an electric fan and purifier. The air gets sucked into the bottom which is the purifier and it’s released through the fan vents,” she explained.

Ava also shared her experience with her first ever Dyson product which she got when she moved into her apartment with her husband and their dog. “My dog has short hair, and I thought my husband was allergic to that. So I wanted to have my very own vacuum. I was looking online which ones are the best and I came across Dyson’s handheld V8. Up to now, I still use it. The best thing is that machine is super powerful. It can penetrate through mattresses, and you see as it builds up the dust [inside the vacuum].”
The V8 can last up to 40 minutes and is powered by the V8 digital motor which spins up to 107,000rpm. It has a fully-sealed filtration system to trap 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, and it’s equipped with a hygienic bin emptying mechanism so you won’t have to touch the dirt to clean your vacuum.
