On Monday, June 20, 2022, I was able to take part in the Watsons Philippines Switch and Savers’ Shopping Spree Event held at the SM Megamall branch. This is the brand’s first in-person event in almost three years. The store put up a massive display of Watsons brands’ wide assortment of products at the center, and a photo area where regulars can show off their haul. The site was adorned with the Switch and Save Campaign’s signature motif, red and white.
In attendance were various influencers and media personalities who all enjoyed a day of in-store shopping. Guests stocked up on brand favorites and discovered other products from the brand that they just had to check out.

While I was there, I was able to snag some of the brand’s best sellers and a few crowd favorites. The first order of business was the White Tea & Ginger Scented Gel Hand Wash and Green Tea Scented Invigorating Wet Wipes. Mica, a BPO employee who happened to have just stumbled upon the floor where the brand was holding the shopping spree event and decided to participate, shared that the brand is a one-stop-shop for her personal care needs. “[It’s] complete from head to toe. ‘Di [ko] na kailangan puntahan isa-isa sa iba’t ibang stores.” [I don’t have to shop for items one by one in different stores.]
