Have you ever wondered what the kids are wearing these days—specifically those who are fashion enthusiasts? If you’re into fashion in any way shape or form, it is always interesting to discover what young designers are wearing today. The youth are the future, so predicting trends with their creative ensembles can be a way to stay on top of your style game. That’s why we were thrilled to sit down with some of the up-and-coming fashion design students to find out what their go-to outfits are for a day of classes.

These designers have their fingers on the pulse of what’s hot in fashion, and we were eager to hear their thoughts on what pieces they love to wear and how they stay inspired in their daily lives. Each designer had a unique perspective on fashion and how it influences their daily wardrobe choices. It’s clear that clothing is more than just what we wear, but a way to express our unique perspectives and make a statement about who we are as individuals.
First up, we have the fabulous Clyemae Suarez. This budding designer is all about sleek black looks, and she loves nothing more than a good jumper that cinches her waist to the gods. “I like to feel comfy and cozy in class, but I still want to look cute,” Clyemae tells us. “Plus, you never know when you’re going to be called up to present your work, so it’s important to look presentable!”
Next, we have the lovely Kla Dela Cruz. This fashionista is all about accessories, and she’s never caught without a statement necklace or a funky pair of earrings. “Accessories are the perfect way to spice up any outfit,” Kla explains. “Plus, they’re a great conversation starter, and you never know who you might meet in class!”
Zoie Garcia is next on our list. You may know her as a famous TikToker, but she’s also a fashion design student. This minimalist queen loves a good pair of high-waisted jeans and a classic white tee with Y2K accessories. “I like to keep my outfits effortless and trendy,” Zoie tells us. “It’s all about letting your creativity shine in your designs and your clothes!”
Corven Uy is up next, and he’s also all about making a statement. This bold designer loves to mix prints and textures, and he’s never afraid to take risks with his fashion choices. “Fashion is all about taking risks and pushing boundaries,” Corven says. “If you’re not making a statement, then what’s the point?”
Last but certainly not least, we have the fabulous Dian Liandro. This trendsetter is all about black outfits with a pair of statement shades. “There’s something so special about finding a one-of-a-kind piece and incorporating it into your outfit,” Dian explains. “Plus, it’s a great way to show off your design prowess without trying too hard!”
