To be released in January 2023 in Louis Vuitton’s Cruise Collection, Yayoi Kusama has once again collaborated with the Maison after the first collaboration 10 years ago

Collaborations are done to see how artists push further into their creativity—a challenge that unlocks a new style that transcends the trends, a form of wearable art that will forever be one-of-a-kind. 2022 has been quite adventurous seeing the numerous collaborations done between fashion brands and fellow contemporary artists in the field. And before the year ends, Louis Vuitton has announced a comeback collaboration after their first one a decade ago.

Known for her avant-garde creations and hypnotic artistry, Yayoi Kusama has become one of the most renowned and influential artists of our time. Louis Vuitton presented us with a teaser for the release of Yayoi Kusama’s collaboration in January 2023 in their Cruise Collection. Though the sneak peak includes a staple polka-dot pattern, we can expect more designs that explore the avant-garde artist’s play in hypnotic motifs combined with the Maison’s staple emblems.
