Jelly Eugenio’s work comes with prestige in the beauty community. May it be celebrity glam moments or graphic trends, he can master it all and more so add his own signature touch. His looks are distinct and because he equips himself with what makes a modern It Girl, he is a favorite amongst the new generation. For his hard work and numerous achievements, Eugenio was awarded Makeup Artist of the Year, in this year’s MEGA Fashion Awrads co-presented by RLC Residences.
Even during the quarantine, Eugenio’s creativity didn’t cease. He started his online classes called “The Process by Jelly Eugenio” where he provided classes for aspiring pro-makeup artists and non-makeup artists. And earlier this year, he was the sole presenter of the newest products by Make Up For Ever in Southeast Asia where top influencers and artists from the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Singapore were invited and recognized.
A trendsetter in the beauty community, the talented artist says his iconic looks from Nadine Lustre’s “drunk blush” and Catriona Gray’s fierce Miss Universe brows are results of his travels, constant reinvention, and the person’s character. “I learned to translate a person’s character through makeup,” he proudly says.
