Aside from entertainment, TikTok is an excellent platform for finding information about anything, like workout plans and fitness motivations. There are a ton of fitness trends coming out of TikTok these days, but here are just three of what we think are worth keeping based on their benefits and accessibility.

The Hot Girl Walk
RELATED: Is Cardio the Only Thing You Need to Be Healthy?
As silly as it sounds, the Hot Girl Walk, created by Mia Lind, is a great approach to fitting fitness into your busy schedule. To do this, you just need to do four-mile mindfulness walks outdoors. While not only helpful in inching towards achieving your daily step goal, the 40 minutes or so it takes to walk this distance will give you ample time to listen to your favorite podcast, empty your mind, or think about your goals. But as the name suggests, this is also your time to manifest and give yourself a much-needed confidence boost to help you take on the rest of your week.
The 3-2-8 method

The 3-2-8 method by Natalie Rose is a workout structure made up of three parts: weight training, pilates or barre, and at least 8,000 steps per day. Natalie specifies that you do pilates or barre workouts three times a week, and a full-body strength workout twice a week. Throughout it all, you should also be walking a minimum of 8,000 steps a day by doing power walks a few times a week. According to her, this workout structure improved her flexibility, core strength, and mind-muscle connection, all while reducing her stress levels and inflammation in her body.
The 12-3-30 workout

Lastly, Lauren Giraldo’s 12-3-30 workout is a simple power walk on a treadmill that consists of setting your machine to a 12% incline and 3mph speed for 30 minutes. While doing this, it’s also important that you don’t hold onto the treadmill handrails so that your body is actually at an incline and you exercise properly. This workout is also one that yoga teacher, holistic wellness coach, and adidas Runners Manila captain Nikki Torres recommended.
And that’s it! The best thing about these trends is that you can easily perform them all. You can stick to the 3-2-8 method and reach your daily step goal by doing Hot Girl Walks and using the 12-3-30 workout. However, if you’re just starting out, don’t beat yourself up if you can’t achieve them all quite yet. Do what you can for now and incrementally work your way up from there. At least this time, you have a goal and a plan put into place to help you.
