Dominic Roque is only keeping it real and honest on why Kathryn Bernardo, and not Daniel Padilla, is invited to his wedding with Bea Alonzo

His direct answer
In a recent interview with the press for an event, the Black Peak Hypermedia CEO clarified that between Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, only the former would be invited to his wedding with Bea Alonzo. “Hindi pa naman kami okay ni DJ,” he truthfully responded. Adding more, he further explained, “We’re not talking. We haven’t seen each other for the longest time since 2020.”
Meanwhile, Roque confirmed that his other friends including Patrick Sugui, Marco Gumabao, and Khalil Ramos would be part of the entourage. He also mentioned that their save the date would be out this month, and are surely tying the knot this year.
Joining KathNiel in a number of acting projects, Dominic was a friend of the two ever since. However, in 2020, fans noticed that he was no longer in their squad’s gatherings. In 2021, the two unfollowed each other on Instagram, confirming their rift. While the two have yet to patch things up, the actress remained on good terms with Roque.
A good decision
After the breakup of the reel-turned-real love team, fans and netizens had associated the falling out of Dominic and Daniel to be related to the latter’s character. They also called the former a true friend of Bernardo for disassociating with Padilla and keeping the connection with Kathryn throughout the years.
While the true reason for their rift is still unknown, Dominic’s statement is currently going viral on social media. Far from the tailored responses of stars that beat around the bush, he chose to be direct and clear.
