Denmark
Denmark’s bet Victoria Kjær Theilvig claimed the Miss Universe 2024 crown in a sparkling pink evening gown by Peruvian designer Jose Zafra. For her winning moment, she graced the stage in an ensemble adorned with intricate beadwork, a daring neckline, and sheer, embellished elbow-length gloves. The look was as radiant as the crown on her head.
Argentina
Argentina’s Magali Benejam brought the glitz to the stage in her embellished fuschia number by Joli Poli Couture. Its wave-like neckline and delicate sheer tulle sleeves were its standout features, creating a fluidity that complemented her every movement. Benejam’s gown was a performance in itself.
Thailand
Thai bet Opal Suchata Chuangsri clinched third runner-up in a Thai mythology-inspired gown by Filipino designer Rian Fernandez. Named the “Queen’s Wings of Triumph,” the dress was inspired by the mythical Thep Kinnaree, with a neckline sculpted like its wings and a cream-and-gold colorway, making for a well-played tribute.
Venezuela
Ileana Marquez stepped onto the stage in a gown reminiscent of an armor, albeit bejeweled in silver. The lifted shoulders, mock neck design, and a figure-hugging fishnet pattern of jewels gave the gown a regal edge. The design was simple in description but breathtaking in execution—definitely a top-five-worthy look.
Chile
Adorned in cascading crystals, Emilia Dides glistened with each stride. Her evening gown was designed by Dhey Galaviz, and it was inspired by the snow-covered peaks of the Andes mountains in her home soil. The gown was a tribute to her Chilean roots, turning her into a queen as bold and dazzling as the mountain skyline itself.
