From intricate embroideries to fall inspired palettes, Natori celebrates glamour in their new fall collection
Josie Cruz Natori has become one of the most influential and acclaimed fashion designers locally and internationally ever since she launched her brand, Natori. An artistry that champions her roots combined with western elements, which has then become an multinational brand since 1977, Josie Natori pursued a path that reflected her way of life and the principles she had that were ahead of her time.
Though the brand started with their lingerie creations, it has evolved into something bigger—a way of life women can have for themselves, a life where there are no boundaries, and one can champion themselves confidently. With that, Natori goes beyond their clothes.
It’s a concept so evident in Natori over the past years and they remain consistent as they release their Fall 2022 collection. Celebrating glamour that Natori has been showcasing, we get to see a fusion of the east and west with a touch of Hollywood glam. And as the brand launch their latest collection, they also celebrate their 45 years of partnership with Rustan’s Philippines.
“After a tumultuous three years of the pandemic, I am so excited to have our final celebration of 45 years of Natori at Rustan’s, our partner in the Philippines for over two decades,”
Josie Natori, Founder & CEO of Natori
The collection stays true to the season. Their use of autumnal palette with touches of green, red, and cognac complement their signature play in print and embroideries, but it was elevated as they materialize luxury fabrics such as silk, velvet, and jacquard.
Western elements also come into play as they explore silhouettes inspired by Hollywood. The selection includes a wide variety of dresses, knitwear, and puffer styles while the bustier pays homage to the humble beginnings of Natori.
