From renowned actresses and designers to influential entrepreneurs and society members, the guest list was a tapestry of talent that left us in awe.
The Upper Lobby
The festivities kicked off with cocktails at the Upper Lobby of The Peninsula Manila, setting the tone for a night filled with laughter and camaraderie. Notable personalities like COO of the Tourism Promotions Board of the Philippines Marga Nograles, Korina Sanchez, and Apples Aberin were spotted, sharing light-hearted moments and enjoying the ambiance.
Entrepreneurs Erickson and Roxanne Farillas were all smiles for the camera, while veteran journalist Ces Drilon was seen having fun posing in front of the MEGA letterboxes set up at the cocktail area, just like San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora and wife Keri. Esteemed and up-and-coming designers were also spotted mingling with friends and guests, from Avel Bacudio and Ferdi Salvador to Andrea Tetangco and Carlene Zervoulakos with Mandy Romero.
The Conservatory
Since this year’s MEGA Ball was a night filled with extraordinary art, the guests were led to The Conservatory where stunning pieces by the Philippines’ master artists were on full display. MEGA Ball Co-Chair Sheila Romero and husband Mikee Romero proudly pose in front of Perya by Rodel Tapaya, while Sheila’s sister Marga Bermudez and girlfriend Gabs Gibbs were also enjoying the various works by artists like Mark Justiniani, Geraldine Javier, and Elmer Borlongan that were surrounding the room. On another side of The Conservatory, Annette Gozon-Valdes, President of GMA Worldwide, was seen admiring the incredible sculptures by MEGA Icon Awardee Ramon Orlina.
The Rigodon Ballroom
Afterwards, guests made their way to the Rigodon Ballroom for dinner and the main event. Apart from being served a delectable full-course meal, more art pieces were on one side of the room for everyone to see—only this time, they were artworks by our country’s emerging artists such as Demi Padua, Yeo Kaa, and Chelsea Theodossis. As the night went on, more guests were seen chatting and mingling with one another.
Tim Yap, who is one of the two originators of the MEGA Ball, caught up with the likes of Iza Calzado, Robby Carmona, and Bianca Gonzalez. Meanwhile, couples like Senator Mark and Em Villar, and Kathy and Mike Huang were definitely enjoying each other’s companies throughout the event.
Other guests who graced the MEGA Ball were Dr. Hayden Kho and his crew of Belo Babies: LA Aguinaldo, Nikki De Moura, Bethany Talbot, Lexi Mendiola, and more. Not only that, but the likes of Michelle See-Tan, Jojie Dingcong, Nikki Prieto-Teodoro, Heart Evangelista, Senator Chiz Escudero, and Secretary of National Defense Gilbert Teodoro were also spotted at the event.
As the night came to a close, laughter and fond memories lingered in the air, solidifying the MEGA Ball as a remarkable celebration of art, fashion, and the star power that brings it all to life. The event’s fusion of diverse personalities, exquisite fashion choices, and breathtaking performances will undoubtedly be remembered as an iconic moment in the art and fashion scene.
