California Dreamin’: Here are the Stars That Graced Ralph Lauren’s SS23 Fashion Show

Ralph Lauren had a break in live shows due to the pandemic over the last few years, but now that the fashion scene is fiery again, the designer worked his magic in Southern California for his Spring/Summer 2023 collection.

Fashion can be a great bridge between different cultures and famous personalities because it can bring into one place the most notable stars from all over the world. At its core, fashion runways are extraordinary, but it feels more historic when it is crowded with the presence of stars like Kim Woo Bin, Krystal Jung, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, and Lily Collins.

The star-studded event with the theme of “California Dreaming” took place on the 14th of October, and Korean actors Kim Woo Bin and Krystal Jung were seen in attendance. The former co-stars of the K-drama Heirs even marked this as a special reunion between their two characters.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck showed up in evening outfits that were exclusive designs from the Ralph Lauren collection—JLo in a striped wrap-around dress with a low neckline, which she elevated with a necklace and a black cowboy hat, and Ben in a perfectly tailored suit that complemented his wife’s look. The event was particularly personal to the couple since Ralph Lauren designed their wedding ensembles.

Riverdale actor Cole Sprouse also attended the event together with his girlfriend, model Ari Fournier. Cole wore a black suit with a red scarf accent peeking through his collars, and Ari was seen in a tube top with intricate detailing paired with striped trousers. Meanwhile, The Voice coach and award-winning singer John Legend mixed business with casual as he wore a striped button down, a black necktie, and a polka dotted coat over khaki trousers and black pointed loafers.

Lily Collins also made an appearance, and the actress did not disappoint. The Emily in Paris star did a modern take on plaid with a tube top and a long train at the back, while also inserting some classics—black trousers and pointed stilettos.

Ralph Lauren’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection showcased a reimagined classic style with a touch of youthful spirit. The entire lineup embodied the feel of the west coast, which made it a successful first show in Los Angeles, California.
