Creative director Nicolas Ghesquière maximized the opportunity to explore the digital realm, a world of seemingly endless possibilities. From the live stream, green screen magic, and 360-degree view of digital phones seated front row, Louis Vuitton’s remarkable Spring-Summer 2021 Collection, filled with gender-neutral and ’80s-inspired creations, became the benchmark for runway shows to come.
A celebration of freedom, boldness, and modern femininity, Ghesquière revisits the SS’ 21 collection for a Spin Off show in Singapore that gave the fashion community not what it asked for, but what it needed. The first physical runway show was held at the Art Science museum and displayed the line’s versatility of vibrant colors and boxy, relaxed silhouettes that spoke to the modern women and men of today who live for fashion. This was the same reason why the multi-faceted creative herself, Anne Curtis, embodies the line so fittingly.

Full Force
The last time we saw the fashion icon and multimedia superstar, she always on-the-go with a full schedule of hosting, action-packed films, and thriving beauty and fashion businesses. It came to a halt when she announced her pregnancy, which was quickly followed by the lockdown. Anne slowed down, moved back to her hometown in Melbourne, Australia, and welcomed her firstborn Dahlia with husband Erwan Heussaff. A full year passed, and now the fashion icon and multimedia superstar is back in full force, clad naturally, in Louis Vuitton.
Making A Statement
Even if she admits that her schedule now mostly consists of spending time with Dahlia, Anne is more than excited to have a reason to get dressed up again. From a surfer chick to a woman who loves the classics, Anne is unafraid to mix it up.
“You have your timeless classics, but at the same time bold and fun statements,” says Curtis, which is exactly her style. From a contemporary utilitarian look composed of a fishnet-detailed, cropped jacket, monogram jacquard cargo pants and Star Trail canvas boots, to a summer streetwear fit made up of a layered Grapefruit Gradient monogram bomber jacket over a Damier Azur sleeveless dress and silver-chrome Archlight sneakers, Anne shows it all off with aplomb.

As a new mom, Anne says that versatility is key, especially when she’s carrying essentials for two. Another favorite of Anne’s is the LV Volt, a high jewelry collection that is fitting for any modern-day superstar. Far different from Francesca Amfitheatrof’s previous Blossom collection, which highlighted the brand’s iconic monogram flower, this time the artistic director for high watch and jewelry explores bolder and edgier silhouettes for the fashion house’s initials.
Transforming the L and V into jewelry charged with pulsing energy and power, seen here on Anne is the LV Volt Curb Chain Earrings crafted from 18-karat yellow gold. The intertwined letters of the earrings feature the first LV-branded chain and pay tribute to the energy and rhythm of the Louis Vuitton initials.
