Bringing their word-class talent back into their home court, SB19 wrapped up their tour in Manila with a two-day concert to remember

All roads lead back to home for SB19 as they started and wrapped their Pagtatag! World Tour up in the same place—the Philippines. After almost a year of going around the country and the world—the quintet—composed of Pablo, Stell, Ken, Josh, and Justin, held their two-day concert at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The internationally-acclaimed P-Pop group, as always, took the A’TIN’s breaths away as they delivered a strong performance all throughout their final stop. And while their presence itself is enough to command the audience and be remembered, here are a few highlights from the second day of their concert that made Pagtatag!’s final run the best one, as of writing.

Transforming themselves into a group of rappers, the boys jammed with master rapper Gloc-9 himself when they performed the latter’s hit, “Sumayaw Ka.” Fans were delighted at the well-roundedness of the boys who proved themselves to be unstoppable artists. Will this be a sign or a premonition that SB19’s next tracks will have more rap lines, or will they even have a collaboration with Gloc-9, too?

What’s an SB19 concert without Filipino pride screaming through the speakers? Apart from the master rapper, Gelou from YARA also joined Justin on stage for the performance of “surreal,” his debut single.

Finally, SB19 wowed the crowd with their stripped down performance of “Mapa,” featuring Louie Ocampo on piano and The Voice Generations’ FORTEnors and VocalMyx. The latter’s performance with the group was a full circle moment, with Stell, as the reality singing show’s judge, once told the group to perform with them in their concert.

Pure Talent with Talent

SB19 Stell does a solo performance with Louie Ocampo

Known for his vocal prowess that captivates more listeners when he belts his notes, Stell sang “Anino” with a simple musical arrangement. Maestro musician Louie Ocampo accompanied the SB19 member’s vocals, their stage collaboration earning cheers and a standing ovation from fans.

Felip’s Connection with A’Tin

Felip also gave a heart-tugging solo number

Cementing his versatility and ability to be vulnerable through music, Felip prepared an acoustic version of “Kanako” for his solo stage performance. This drove fans to tears, and even the performer himself felt the impact of his track that night.

SB19 has succesfully finished another year-long world tour

Chinese music producer Terry Zhong didn’t miss SB19’s last Pagtatag! stage as well, gracing the occasion to bring more energy for the A’Tin. The quintet collaborated with him and record producer, Ian Asher, for their latest single, “Moonlight.”
