Last night, Halloween became a celebration for two as couples attended the Opulence Ball hand in hand. Indeed, the season was an opportunity to keep their love alive as each one donned matching and complementing outfits together. With that, here are some of MEGA Entertainment’s standout pairings at the occasion.

Mond Gutierrez and Robert William
The host did not attend his own event without a plus one. Mond and his partner, Robert, donned their gold and silver armor, respectively. The emblems on their belts symbolized the couple as the sun and the moon, personified. In a way, they were also giving off Achilles and Patroclus in Madeline Miller’s Song of Achilles. What better way to host your own party than with your partner, right?
Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho
A royal couple in their own right, Dr. Vicki Belo and Dr. Hayden Kho wore white and gold ensembles inspired by celestial beings. Designed by Neric Beltran, the pieces were adorned with details serving as the accents of their looks. For Vicki, she embodied the specks of stars. Meanwhile, Hayden had the rays of the sun embellished on his cape.
Angelique Manto and David Guison
Together and on their own, Angelique and David always know how to stay true to their aesthetics, and celebrating Halloween at Opulence was no exception. For the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 finalist, she exuded some fierce energy as the mother of dragons with her black and white JustBonita and Studio Haring frock. Meanwhile, the content creator did a modern iteration of Hermes courtesy of a Neric Beltran netted and beaded piece.
Laureen Uy and Miggy Cruz
Known for their street style looks, the engaged couple elevated their usual outfits for the night. With the pearl as their pieces’ unifying gem, they went for an edgier take on the theme of gods and goddesses.
Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford
It was definitely a date night for Amari’s parents during Opulence. The couple married their red, beige, and gold looks together from their glam down to their outfits. With their fits for the night, they could also do a crossover into the world of the Hunger Games as residents of The Capitol.
Aubrey Miles and Troy Montero
Opulence was another night out for this pair of parents. Taking inspiration from the films The Mummy and 300, Aubrey and Troy donned costumes based on Anck-Su-Namun and Leonidas, respectively.
Issa Pressman and James Reid
Bringing Hades and Persephone into the occasion, James and Issa channeled the infamous couple with their black-on-black ensembles. Making their looks a definite standout, their stunning headpieces were their crowning glory as the god and goddess of the underworld. Truly, they ruled the Opulence Ball as a pair.
