Rap hitmaker and producer Pharrell Williams teased a potential collaboration with RM, leader of the top K-Pop boy group, BTS
An upcoming music creation from two crowd-favorite rappers definitely sounds like a dream collaboration in the global music scene that everyone is looking forward to hear.
While confirming the release of his album titled Phriends, Pharrell said in an interview that a BTS-recorded song is included in the album. RM and Pharrell were certain that the fans will love their first collab because the two artists themselves enjoyed the creative process that led to the output.
RM, whose real name is Kim Namjoon, shared in the conversation that his team is already about 90% done with his own solo album. This caused Pharrell to reach out and pitch a potential song that could squeeze in the remaining 10% that is currently in the works. The K-Pop star expressed his verbal acceptance on the potential mix and said that he is both honored and grateful to create music with his idol.
Although this isn’t the first time that BTS collaborated with western musicians, this is definitely another collaboration that fans should look forward to before the group’s military enlistment and their set group come back by 2025.
Prompted by the release of BTS’ Jin solo album, The Astronaut, the group puts more emphasis on their individual ventures as musicians.
