There’s nothing wrong with grieving

There are two types of people when these announcements happen, you can be nonchalant about it or you can take the emotional route, and we won’t judge you for it. Everyone has their own way of dealing with the news, but don’t let that drive you to saying something insensitive online.

Let it sink in

Take a deep breath and let the heartbreak sink in. The earlier you deal with the emotions, the quicker you’ll heal from it. Besides, would you rather go through a denial phase, and then get hit harder by reality in the near future? We’re hoping you answered no for this round, by the way.

Take it lightly

Just to get things straight, we are not invalidating your feelings, and it’s understandable if you feel hurt from the announcement. But we do have to remind you that there is no harm in taking it lightly. There is a fine line between the relationship of the artists and the fans, and that’s something we should respect despite the news.

Don’t target the artists

We’re going to echo the sentiment of respecting the artists again because in the end, they’re just following the given dates. While they do have the right to demand or question the schedule, most of the time, they need to work with what is given to them due to reasons we can’t see on our end. So before we go to certain social media platforms, let’s be sensitive to what is happening on their end too.

Move forward

There will be a next time, and we just have to wait for our turn. Even if it takes a few months or even years, we have no choice but to patiently wait and hope until another announcement is made, and the list includes our country. Is it still painful? Yes, but it’s one of the sacrifices you’re going to have to take up when you’re a fan.
