Instagram has been bombarding us with updates recently. They started with the ‘music’ feature for stories, which by far is fun. But it’s not really something we need—much like the Close Friends update. If you have a Finsta, the Close Friends feature is not too different from that. The Walkie Talkie feature made direct messages… different. It’s a lot like Facebook Messenger now and we don’t need a 2.0 of that. But through all these updates, Instagram will finally give us one we actually need: The Self-Regram.

Debuting on iOS, the social media platform will finally allow us to post a photo simultaneously across accounts with one tap. This could be the one of the best, if not, the best update we’re getting yet (the usage tracking feature is very useful). It’s not been confirmed if the feature will be available to Android users but the company told TechCrunch that they are “rolling out this feature to provide a better experience for people who often post to multiple accounts”.
With Instagram as the go-to platform for updates and promotion (not to mention, business), this update will probably everyone’s most used once implemented.
