Two months after giving birth to her child, Iza breaks her social media hiatus to announce the coming of her daughter
Just today, Iza Calzado surprised her family, friends, and followers with the announcement of her daughter’s birth last January 26. In a post on Instagram, the actress shared a photo of her and husband Ben holding their daughter, Deia Amihan. A heartfelt caption describing her love for her firstborn accompanied the photo. “She’s already stolen our hearts and brought so much joy into our lives,” she wrote.

Paying tribute to one of her most unforgettable roles in Philippine television, Iza chose the name Amihan after her own character from the 2005 series, Encantadia. In her maternity shoot with BJ Pascual, she embodied her past role donning a Jaz Cerezo crystal-crusted number. She completed the look with a modern iteration of her headpiece as a Sanggre.
Iza’s friends expressed their joy for the coming of Baby Wintle in the comments, including actresses Bea Alonzo, Jessy Mendiola, Gabbi Garcia, and Lovi Poe. Her fellow actress and sister-in-law, Bianca King, also congratulated the Wintle family for Deia Amihan’s arrival.
