Riize’s first concert in Manila included a performance of hit songs from P-Pop royalties SB19 and BINI
K-Pop powerhouse group Riize dominated the Araneta Coliseum stage tonight. Shotaro, Eunsok, Sohee, Wonbin, Anton, and Sungchan gave their fans, Briizes, an almost three-hour show, performing hits such as Get A Guitar, Love 119, Boom Boom Bass, Impossible, One Kiss, and more.

Aside from electrifying performances with soulful vocals and strong choreography, The RIIZING DAY: 2024 Riize Fan-Con Tour also involved games between the members; one was a challenge to recreate popular dance trends in the Philippines. Included in the list was Sarah Geronimo’s “Dati Dati,” but when asked to choose which one to dance, RIIZE’s Shotaro said, “The second [“Gento”] and third [“Salamin, Salamin”] are super popular, right?”
The older members Shotaro, Sungchan, and Eunsok against the younger members Wonbin, Anton, and Sohee captivated the Filipino audience with their quick memorization skills and playful yet magnetic rendition of the choreographies.
Just last Friday, July 12, BINI and SB19 treated fans with mini-collaborations and crossover performances on the same stage, the Araneta Coliseum. During “Salamin, Salamin,” SB19’s youngest member Justin made a surprise appearance and danced with the girls.
During his post-performance spiel, he jokingly said, “Sobra [akong] kinabahan kasi finally nag-debut na ako sa isang girl group. Hello po. BINI Justin po. Bye SB, salamat.”
BINI returned the favor when it was SB19’s turn to light up Araneta. Mikha, Colet, Sheena, and Stacey made a cameo and showed the nation their rendition of the “Gento” choreography.
The recognition of P-Pop by an international K-Pop group is a testament to the wide influence both SB19 and BINI have made worldwide.
