Earlier tonight, Star Cinema and the two actresses released two versions of the teasers—a clean version on YouTube and the explicit one on their respective Instagram accounts.

Although the film has already been described as a dark comedy about two self-made women, there is so much more to the film that we already want to know! We start off with Kathryn’s character, Philo, whose name the actress has described on Instagram as a “friend, [someone] who loved, loves.”

Right off the bat of the teaser, she and globally-acclaimed actress Dolly De Leon have already shown the dynamic sides of their characters with their expressions and dialogues.

Besides the meaty storyline written by Marionne Dominique Mancol, we were also in for a treat with the number of visuals presented in just a minute. De Leon wore a bright pink frosted gloss with a silver bob, giving that animated yet also icy persona. Meanwhile, the younger actress sported kohl-lined eyes, emphasizing her haunting looks.

The two actresses also donned outfits that could be described as “corporate camp.” They even had loud and layered accessories, adding more character to their already powerful roles.

Premiering exclusively in cinemas this September 27, 2023, the Petersen Vargas film is one of the most highly-anticipated films of the year, and of the two leads.

Along with the teaser premiere, Vargas shared on his TikTok a series of photos taken when both Kathryn and Dolly first saw it. “I never forgot the look in her eyes [because] I knew she was happy [with] the world that we were doing together and I carried that with me all the way [’til] the end of the production,” the director wrote in his caption.
