A fit body is often measured by the progress that our eyes can see. But the truth is, the mind should also be at work when the active muscles project themselves as toned arms, legs, and abs. This is Kathryn Bernardo’s holistic approach to achieving her sexiest state yet, as she shared last night at the Century Tuna Superbods 2024.

“I believe in the 1% habit,” she said. “Every day, you try to be 1% better. Just keep in mind that you can’t do anything overnight. So, 1% progress, little wins, little progress—you give yourself a few months and maybe a few years, then you’ll see a huge difference. But I have to keep in mind that it won’t happen overnight!”

This said mindset is from author and motivational speaker James Clear who wrote Atomic Habits. According to the writer, “Small habits make a big difference.” In his website, Clear also reiterated that the cumulative effect of the little changes trains one’s mind to form habits rather than one-time, big-time progress.

Last night, Kathryn showcased her toned body in a sizzling dance performance to Dua Lipa’s “Training Season.” The actress donned a red two-piece set, then changed into another fiery Jaz Cerezo number with daring cutouts.

Over the years, Bernardo has maintained an active lifestyle through her initiative to explore different workouts and sports. During the pandemic, she shared her home workouts which included weight training and pilates. Meanwhile, Kathryn also dabbled into playing tennis, badminton, and running. Even in her hangout with friends, she would also inject some activity to move her body through bowling.
