Let’s all admit it—there was one point during our childhood when we can’t be disturbed by either our parents or nannies whenever we’re watching Sesame Street. That’s why when KAWS teased everyone on Instagram with a sneak peek signalling a potential follow-up to his first instalment of KAWS x Sesame Street, we were all excited—especially since it’s perfect for the holiday season.

The new collection collaboration under Uniqlo features KAWS’ interpretation of five main characters: Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Bert, and Ernie. And since KAWS’ is famously known for the “XX” design, all of the characters were illustrated in the artist’s signature aesthetic. Cue the prints on the sweat pull-parka, sweatshirt, to T-shirts, everything was just infused with so much nostalgia.
