The famed actress talked about the importance of having a routine and how she’s able to stay glowing all day.
As most of you know, the MEGA BeautyCon was finally back after two long years. A day that celebrated real Filipino beauty, the event featured brands and their respectives guests to talk all about beauty, health, and wellness. Being one of the partner brands of MEGA BeautyCon, Ready Set Glow invited their brand ambassador, Lovi Poe, along for their designated segment. From her preferred makeup styles to how she manages to stay glowing all the time, the actress was a true advocate for natural and fuss-free beauty.
Starting off light and then with a pop of color later on
Straightaway, Lovi Poe shares how she prefers her makeup just light and fresh on a daily basis. But when it comes to photoshoots and tapings for her shows, that’s when she decides to add a pop of color to her look. She then gushes about her experience in using Ready Set Glow as part of her makeup routine.
“There was this one time, tina-try ko palang ‘yong isang [lip stain], ang bilis nag-stay siya agad. So wala akong choice, ayon na ginamit ko the whole night,” the actress laughs as she shares a fun little anecdote on when she was trying out RSG’s line of lip stains. She even goes to admit how the stains are her favorite products of the brand as she also uses them on set and how it stays on even during kissing scenes.
On keeping it glowing
Lovi reminds us that she too is just like the rest of us, and how there are times when she doesn’t feel beautiful at all, especially when she’s feeling under the weather. On days when we feel less than stellar, there are certain things or activities we can turn to that can give us the confidence boost we need. Activities like a trip to the gym, going on walks, or even something as simple as taking a long shower can make a huge difference on how we feel about ourselves. For Lovi, she shares how working out and going on morning runs are what work for her. “But I think the most important thing is to have a routine,” she explains.
The actress then fondly admires everyone’s perseverance and how we always push through our day-to-day lives, making sure we do our very best the moment we get out of bed in the morning. “I think everyone is a badass inside,” she expresses as a nod to Ready Set Glow’s Badass Lip Stain line.
