In an official announcement from her management, Maja announces her departure in the show for a new milestone in her life
After more than a year of being a part of the Dabarkads squad, Maja Salvador brings her hosting stint at the noontime show Eat Bulaga to a pause. In an announcement released by Crown Artist Management, the actress will leave the show for the time being to focus on her upcoming wedding.

Maja started her Eat Bulaga! journey in October 2021 with her own segment called “DC 2021.” Earning her new title as the “DC Queen”, the actress-dancer took charge in hosting and demonstrating the weekly challenges to the contestants. The first segment was followed by “Dancing Kween”, another dance competition dedicated to the transwomen who could match Maja’s moves.
Eat Bulaga! also paved the way for Maja to forge friendships with her co-hosts Maine Mendoza, MJ Lastimosa, and Miles Ocampo. Giving their quartet an official moniker, the audience knew them as 4M. Because of their hosting duties together, Maja and Miles grew closer than ever as labelmates and friends.
Meanwhile, the actress along with Maine and MJ had a Singapore sleepover which surprised their fans. Their dinner date and Universal Studios tour delighted the netizens on Instagram.
Before she begins her bridal duties soon, the actress also made sure to make a mark on television. She made a special appearance as Cassandra on The Iron Heart starring Richard Gutierrez.
Maja also reunited with other Star Magic alumni such as Bea Alonzo, John Lloyd Cruz, Heart Evangelista, and Jericho Rosales with their “starmaker” Johnny Manahan last March.
