Michael Leyva’s spring-summer 2022 collection features bright colored silhouettes and the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 queens

Michael Leyva posted in his official Instagram account a photo featuring the five Miss Universe Philippines 2021 winners. The group was wearing his creations for the Spring-Summer 2022 collection, seen in full at Arab Fashion Week last evening.

Leyva’s new collection for his spring-summer 2022 couture collection channels glamour and drama, which he dubbed as “Diamond.” The vibrant display of haute couture creations are odes to the saying “diamond is forever,” with each pieces imbued with timeless charm and beauty. According to Leyva, the collection possesses “sparkling, glittering, and something magical” elements. Prior to showing everyone the pieces at Arab Fashion Week, Leyva dressed the newly crowned queens of Miss Universe Philippines. He described the ladies as “beautiful, smart, and professional,” making the experience for him both an “honor and privilege.”

Crowned Miss Universe PH Beatrice Luigi Gomez, Miss Tourism Katrina Dimaranan, Miss Charity Victoria Velasquez Vincent, 1st Runner Up Maureen Wroblewitz, and 2nd Runner Up, Steffi Aberasturi were all smiles in bright colorful couture gowns.
