It’s one thing to wish for healthy, bushy brows, because one still has to groom them to perfection before you’re good to go. Just like me, it’s literally everyday that I have to use an eyebrow pencil and brow mascara to fill in my brows before I could even say my look is complete, and finally step out of the house.
With several semi-permanent brow procedures to keep them on point all day, thank God we no longer have to do it every single day. If you’re hesitant to go through microblading, you can still skip the cumbersome beauty routine and try these procedures that last for quite some time depending on your lifestyle.
Brow Lamination
Here’s one good alternative to microblading that answers any of your long overdue brow concerns: Brow lamination. “Brow lamination takes your unruly or thinning brow hair and smooths it out while also lifting the hair in a more vertical direction,” shares Brow Envy Ohio owner Amber Harrison with Allure. In only less than an hour, extra smooth gelled-like brows is instantly achieved.
As you can see, all hair strokes were brushed upwards. According Claudia Odey’s explanation on how brow lamination process is like, the lifting cream creates a chemical process that breaks down bonds in each hair, allowing them to move into a new shape. Then, neutralizer is applied after brushing the hair upwards to reform the bonds into their new shape and coated with nourishing oil.
Microshading
If what’s stopping you from taking a semi-permanent brow ink is the strokes created through a needle that almost feel like paper cuts, tolerable but considering your sensitive skin, microshading is technique you should opt for. With its gentler application, microshading works through repetitive dots of pigment that resembles your eyebrow powder.
Don’t get intimidated with the thick and dark microshaded brows. After it sits for a few days to a week, the shading will soften and result to more realistic full brows.
Microfeathering
While microblading is the go-to for people with extremely thin brows, microfeathering is conducive for those with naturally full eyebrows. When Kristie Streicher started creating a feathered brow look, it was quick to become popular especially for eyebrow-forward individuals. Streicher aims to provide the most natural-looking eyebrows by copying the real hair and its stroke patterns, using even the closest color of the ink to the eyebrow hair.
Streicher’s signature microfeathered eyebrows were also worn by celebrities Mandy Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Adele, and more. Given its unparalleled results, they guarantee how unnoticeable the real hair from the imitated hair is.
