Here’s how SB19, P-Pop’s reigning royalty, treated A’TINs to an outstanding two-day concert to kickstart their local and world tour
Last weekend, quintet powerhouse SB19 composed of Pablo, Josh, Justin, Ken, and Stell proved their rightful place in P-Pop with their Pagtatag World Tour at the Araneta Coliseum. As one of OPM’s strongest artists today, they gave their fans a two-night concert filled with the group’s individual and collective talents.

Apart from their vocal prowess and dancing skills, SB19 showcased the greater story of their comeback, as well as their other hits since their debut. From their powerful banger start to their impactful closing, MEGA Entertainment wraps up the highlights of the group’s Pagtatag concert.
Golden opening
Reeling from the success of their comeback’s title track, SB19 opened their concert with their smash hit, “Gento.” Playing around with the concept of mining, they started with a video of the five members at a gold mine. With the fans exhilarated from this strong opening, they turned the Big Dome into a cave of yellow lights, signifying the boys’ golden number.

All around talent
SB19 also showcased their softer side with a mashup of “Hanggang Sa Huli” and “Tillaluha,” along with their latest songs “Ilaw,” “Liham,” and “Nyebe.” This brought not only the A’TINs to tears, but also the boys themselves.

While SB19 is a unified group, the stage also housed the solo performances of each member. Main vocalist Stell showcased his theatrical side with “Defying Gravity.” Conquering different genres of music, it is no surprise that he is one of the coaches for the upcoming The Voice Philippines Generation. Meanwhile, Josh played around with his R&B turf with “Wild Tonight” and “Get Right.” Embodying his Felip side, Ken performed “Criminal” and “Stray Dogs.” Finally, Justin covered “Little Things,” and Pablo sang “La Luna.”
Full circle moment
Looking back on their journey, the boys also performed “WYAT,” “Go Up,” and “Freedom.” The last song paid homage to their humble beginnings as a carousel projected on the screen.
Concluding the kickstart of their tour on a powerful note, SB19 belted their multigenre hit, “What.” Serving as their personal battle cry to bring the stories of Filipino talent with them as they conquer the international music scene, the boy group is setting the P-Pop standard as performers and storytellers of OPM.
After their successful two-night show at the Big Dome, SB19 will perform in Davao on July 5 and Bacolod on July 9 before starting their world tour in the US and Canada in August.
