From that cutesy kilig feeling to an established partnership, Filipinos indeed know and write love best. With that said, we give you the different ways these love teams are telling their own versions of romance.
A hopeful optimism
Channeling a youthful vibe to their new partnership, Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin went to last night’s prom together donning yellow and white outfits, respectively. Their attire captured the joy that they share whenever they are together for tapings and vlog collaborations. Without the pressure of an actual romance to ensue, the two allow themselves to just enjoy the company of one another. Who knows? And isn’t friendship a solid foundation for any type of relationship?
A grand and glam gesture
Shining bright like a diamond, Andrea Brillantes and real-life boyfriend Ricci Rivero walked the red carpet together in their matching crystal-embellished ensembles. Just like the process that it took to complete their looks, Andrea also made sure to work on her proposal and think hard about it. Grand gestures, when done right, actually do pay off. At the end of the day, the willingness to put in an effort to make things work hits differently. In Andrea’s case, it’s all worth it with BLACKPINK’s acknowledgment from her proposal to having her boyfriend around for this special event.
An opposite attraction
Hailed as the Prom Queen and King of the Night, Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan opted for contrasting colors with their outfits. The actor sported a black, lace innerwear under his black tuxedo. Meanwhile, Belle’s predominantly white dress still had specks of black on it, courtesy of the feathers. You know what they say—opposites attract. In DonBelle’s case, if it happened with their He’s Into Her characters, perhaps their real-life differences brought them closer together, too.
