It’s pageant season and one of the biggest events under a queen maker’s calendar is up–– Binibining Pilipinas 2022. The country’s longest running national beauty pageant is back for its 58th year. This time around there are 40 contestants who will be competing against each other for a chance to win the four crowns namely: Binibining Pilipinas Globe, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International, and Binibining Pilipinas International.
After weeks of screening and pageant training, the girls have now showcased their pasarela skills and unique talents in a press presentation. During the event, pageant fans were quick to notice that Binibini Iba, Zambales, Joanna Rabe, and Binibini Bataan, Anna Valencia, looked almost identical. It may be because they both share a similar face shape and nose.
The queens may look alike, but they were trained differently. Joanna Rabe was trained by the prestigious Aces & Queens. This is the same camp that produced Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa, Miss World 2013 Megan Young, and many more.
On the other hand, Anna Valencia was trained by the illustrious Kagandahang Flores who produced Miss International 2005 Precious Lara Quigaman, Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry, Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago, and many other winning queens.
Aces & Queens was quick to comment about the trending topic on social media by posting an impromptu photo of the two showcasing their difference in looks. Both girls are definitely beautiful by all means, but have varying eyes and facial structure, which debunks the idea that they look alike. Although, their twinning moment was short lived, this was a great tidbit to guess over for the loyal pageant fans.
